The Azure Tempest. Private RP With Heidi. (Attempt 2)

Years ago a great man known as Binks Kongou made a name for himself on Aquatica. He started off as a young boy with a great love for music. He liked long walks on the beach, swimming and singing a great deal. He loved his planet of Aquatica and due to his great love decided to protect it from any harm by becoming the youngest Royal knight in Aquatica's history at the age of sixteen. A feat that his best friend Kuroiji was impressed with.

Various Pirate crews then began to appear throughout Aquatica.So many in fact that the knights had their work cut out for them as defenders of the planet. It was hard to keep peace as duels and brawls would break out everywhere. He knew however that the royal knights couldn't protect all of Aquatica by themselves as they were just five chao. Binks resigned from his position of royal knight and vanished for many years. None of his old comrades or even the water elder knew where he went.

Five years later, another crew began to slowly make a name for themselves. Their ship was a massive galleon called the Azure Tempest their sails had a jolly roger with a cartoonish smile with a violin and bow as it's crossbones with music notes around it.

The galleon had appeared before the royal court suddenly alerting the elder who called her knights into battle. Slowly the plank was lowered and a figure walked down to meet them while singing a song. Giving a jovial laugh the figure, who was the captain of the ship, gave a polite bow to the water elder and her knights.

"Jericho, Alexander, Macchus, Kyozu, Sieglinde and fairest lady of the ocean...it's very good to see you all again" when the captain removed his hat revealing his face the knights and water elder were stunned. Binks had returned as a pirate!

Being held at sword point Binks calmly explained that he was not here to harm them and that he even brought up that they were on the same side. Gathering not only talented musicians but Chao rejected by society for various reasons Binks had formed a crew calling themselves The Sonance Pirates.

"The knights can only do so much without leaving the water elder open to attack. I heard that in my absence some pirates had gotten close enough to were even elder Kaisui was forced into battle. Well, rest assured that is where I come in, I can go places all of you can't! I will aid in protecting my home as well! I am a man loved by the seas a warrior of the ocean!" he declared boldly.

Kaisui and her knights boarded the ship. Each chao aboard the crew immediately sunk to one knee in respect for her. Binks however gazed over his crew.

"I do not care what you have done, I could care less who you are and I care little about what you said and who you said it to! This is the Azure Tempest! The ship of the Sonance Pirates who's Music will spread through the ocean! If you wish to join my crew...then All I ask is that you love music!"

"We can be considered pirates all we want! People may consider us pirates all they want! They have their right to their opinion after all! The goal of this crew is clear! To the protection of Aquatica's oceans, villages and people! We are the naval defensive unit of this planet and will do a DAMN good job of it!" he roared causing his crew to cheer loudly.

Slowly but surely Binks began to aid the knights of Aquatica and the elder in ending piracy on Aquatica. Being a kind man and altruist Binks never killed any of the pirates he fought instead offering them a chance at redemption by joining his crew. At first many pirates took advantage of this by attempting to kill him and take over as captain of his crew.

However, most began to lose the urge to do so within a few weeks time. The ship felt like a home to them all, the captain was like a father, the crew like a family.

Ten years went by and soon only the sonance pirates remained. Most crews were either imprisoned or in an alliance with the sonance pirates. Kaisui never once thought of them as criminals due to the fact that they had saved the lives of her knights various times and had even saved her daughter Tsunami from kidnappers at one point.

Tsunami became elder within that ten year frame but never persecuted the sonance pirates as she recalled being a young girl when Binks had been a knight and knew how fondly her mother spoke of him thus cementing themselves as a second group of Aquatica's guardians.

Binks was forced to dock his ship at a village for almost an entire year due to the wear and tear of constant travelling. He met a woman in the village named Ariana and they fell in love.

He took her aboard the ship with him when she asked but would decline when the voyage out to sea seemed too dangerous. When those times came he would give her a special piece of eight that would give off music to comfort her while she waited for his return.

Times of peace came to Aquatica. Making use of his time for he didn't know how long it would last Binks proposed to Ariana and they were wed. The new water elder Tsunami herself proceeded over the ceremony.

Together they had two children, one daughter and then three years later one son. Both were contacted when the eggs hatched and made the trips to see their children at the Chao garden. Their daughter was an otter who had a talent for singing but she seemed rather shy. Then three years later when visiting their newborn son he had picked up the small violin in his arms but wasn't all that good at playing it.

He named his daughter Katherine and gave her the middle name Giselle named after his late mother and sister. He had wanted to name them both but Ariana argued that it was unfair and chose the name Unsui and the middle name Amadeus for their son.
They took the children with them to Aquatica and raised them together. Katherine was eight and Unsui was five when tragedy struck and Ariana was taken from them. She had contracted a virus from a tropical island they had been on while on vacation with the crew.

With her dying words she begged Binks to take care of their children and raise them well. Binks agreed to do so and relinquished his position of captain for a time. He handed down the mantle of captain to his first mate and stayed with his two children for three years. He taught Unsui and Katherine his excellent swordsmanship and taught them both water magic during the years he was with them.

He was forced to leave them in the care of a friend when several members of his crew had appeared before him and told him of the convict Poseidon. He had laid waste to several villages, destroyed many crews that were under an alliance with him and was giving their allies the knights of Aquatica a run for their money.

Unwilling to let the slaughters on Aquatica continue Binks rejoined his crew and once again became captain. He promised his children that he would return one day and urged them to use their skills and abilities to do something great with their lives. He vanished for many years but his children kept hope that he would return.

Ten years later, Unsui had joined the knights of Aquatica and became a member of the elite royal guard who's job was to guard the elder. Unsui and Tsunami fell in love over the course of two years but there happiness was cut short as Poseidon appeared before them with the intent of killing Tsunami. After a fierce battle all the royal guards but Unsui were killed. He was cast aside in a riptide, the ocean current dragged him off into the sea.

The convict was forced to retreat and Unsui's body was never found by Tsunami. It was however found by Binks, who upon seeing his son in a near death state wept bitterly and wore a mask to keep his face hidden from the shame he felt. He had broken the promise to his wife and his children! He had no right to face them!

Unsui having lost his memories, stayed aboard the Azure Tempest quickly adapting to the pirate life. Rising through the ranks he became the first mate.Throughout that time Unsui felt as if he was at home and had the biggest case of deja vu but never knew why.

Three years after, Poseidon rose once again, this time aiming to assimilate the crew and take their abilities. In the ensuing battle Siegfried awakened his final form and dealt a lethal blow to the convict. However, not only was the ship damaged and several crewmmates slain...the captain was dying from his wounds.

There, at last, in the arms of his son, Binks unmasked and revealed to Siegfried who he was and why he had done what he did. Siegfried held no anger towards him and tearfully admitted that his only regret was that they had such a small amount of time together. With his last breath he named Siegfried the new captain.

The water elder held a private funeral for him which the entire crew attended. His grave stands next to his wife's atop of a cliff of his favorite island on Aquatica.

With a new captain in tow the Sonance pirates of the Azure Tempest set off to the sea once more. They would have many adventures, share many stories and fight many battles...the captain eventually achieving a great position....but this is not that story...our story begins...two years later...

The soft tune of a violin could be heard playing. On Aquatica there was an island that had a large angled cliff. Atop the cliff were two graves where a silver haired Lion chao could be seen. He had very long silver hair down to his waist with locks in the front down to his shoulders. He had a dark blue coat with a matching blut hat that had a feather on top to match it and dark boots and pants.

The male stared at the two graves before him with a small smile recalling what had made him who he was. He pulled out his violin named Amadeus and began to play a soft melody.

'Father...Mother...I hope that you two are watching over me and the crew' he thought warmly. He stared out into the ocean before closing his eyes 'It is times like this that one must rest before the next adventure' he thought with a smile 'Yohohohoho...' finishing his song the violin vanished and he gave a bow. The silver haired lion made his way to the edge of the cliff and gazed at the Azure Tempest which was docked on the beach below and the many pirates within the crew lounging around enjoying the feel of land.

Captain Of The Sonance Pirates: Siegfried "Amadeus" Kongou

"Cap'n!" a voice suddenly called out giving the owner of the voice his immediate attention. A cloud of smoke that had flown up to him suddenly formed into a chao body.

"Andre, what's the matter?" Siegfried asked the Buffalo.

Salvager & "Firefighter" of the Sonance Pirates: Andre "Smoking Bull" Hunter

"Kishi's detected a sea monster attack" Andre said, chewing some gum.

He immediately jumped down from the cliff "Everyone to the ship!" he commanded while he was falling. With a flick of his hands a water dragon formed from the nearby ocean and caught him "Kishigure says there's been an attack!" he said, riding the dragon to the ship.

"Aye Captain!" the crew said in unison, quickly gathering up their things and bolting back to the ship.

In the water by the ship a female wearing the traditional samurai garb with a longsword sheathed on her side glared at the ocean. She was a rather irritated looking cheetah chao.

"Damn sea demons..." she muttered darkly.

Swordsman/Blademaster of the Sonance Pirates: Kishigure Roen "The Cutting Rain"

"Kishigure, is what you feel certain?" a gruff voice asked. The voice in question belonged to a bear chao that had a white moustache, wore a black headband and a grey coat and pants.

First Mate of the Sonance Pirates: Michael Newgate "The Tremor"

"Yes, I've never been wrong on these things before, besides...Kiribachi knows when they're near" she said, placing her hand on her sword sheath which was glowing a dark green color. She made her way back to the ship and immediately made her way to the bow.

"You'll guide?" a voice asked causing Kishigure to nod wordlessly. The voice belonged to a falcon chao who flew up to the crows nest and gazed at the ocean from his altitude "Hmmm...I see it! It's rather close by, seems that a ship traveled into the red belt" the Chao said.

Look-Out of the Sonance Pirates: Jacob "Eagle-Eye" Alfray

"The red belt? I should'a known! That place is littered with the damn monsters!" a loud voice boomed. A silverback gorilla chao made his way to the helm "What kinda fool guides their ship through them stupidly dangerous waters?"

Helmsman of the Sonance Pirates: Anton Sobek "The Uproar"

"PERHAPS SOMEONE WITH AN INCOMPETENT CREW YOU IMBECILE!" a chimp roared out at him from above causing Anton to sputter.

"Ah...heh heh heh...s-sorry bout that Doc...I forgot..." the gorilla apologized nervously.

"The fact is we must get to their ship and hope there are some survivors" the chimp said "I'll wake Venedict from his slumber and we'll have our equipment at the ready" he said before making his way into the ship.

A Golden Lion Tamarin Chao laughed enthusiastically as he unwrapped the sails "Alright! Finally something to do!" he cheered before flipping and landing on the mast.

Shipwright Of The Sonance Pirates: Portgas "The Mechanic" Takahashi

"Set Sail!" Siegfried commanded.

On command the ship began to sail away from the beach and towards the center of the attack. As they approached the area Kishigure's blade was glowing a more pronounced green "Be on alert" she commanded. While the crew was keeping an eye out for a sea monster Siegfried saw the ship. It was a medium sized ship and from what he could tell it seemed to be a merchant ship.

The Pelagios That was the name of the ship that now lay in shambled floating pieces of wood. It was a new ship artfully crafted on her maiden voyage. The Voyage was more of a mission set by the benefactor who had her created for one reason. To find the girls father out at sea.

The day she heard the news that her fathers ship went down at sea was the day Hamano decided to quit her job. She was once the most advanced in her field not because of her passion for what she did but because she was just good at it. She learned from the best. The best was a Chao who was her teacher and later her father.

When she was younger just a chaoling really Hamano found out she had a gift, a simple gift really, water would change into anything she wanted it to. She would just touch water and if she thought about changing it even a passing thought it would. Water would turn into soda, juice, and tea or if she was angry sour milk or even acid. It was a gift that got her into lots of trouble in school when her control was shotty at best. She couldn’t get a handle on her power it wasn’t really magic cause magic had more control. Hers was more of a science an equivalent exchange she couldn’t change water into anything without losing the water she initially started with.

Hamano had many characteristics that made her unusual the very first being that she was a turtle. There aren’t many reptile chao around but she got by. When she was 4 years old her mother finally came to pick her up from chao Kindergarten. Her mother was very stern and was an extreme over achiever. After she found out about her daughter’s gift she pushed her to advance into the field of her choosing Chemistry. Hamano being just a child wanted to earn her mothers praise and did whatever she could to get even the smallest of a smile. When her mother thought her ready she set her up for a presentation. Hamano being only 6 at the time was quiet shy and she understood the material but from night upon night upon night of reading and studying her world was very much a blur and she was only able to differentiate items by color and shape. Squinting as she mixed the items in front of her and some how some way everything blew sky high. Hamano took out the auditorium and was knocked out for a month. Her mother didn’t even wait for her to wake up before disowning her. Hamano was now on her own.

Hamano met her teacher when she woke up. While she didn’t understand why he was there at first she later got accustomed to his presence. He told her that her mother would not return. Hamano at first was quiet devastated but by the time she was released from the hospital she understood that her mother had not love for her but a love for the possibility of fame that would be brought on by a chaoling prodigy. He took her in and taught her. He was the one who noticed that her eyesight was bad and that the explosion that came from her first presentation was because she couldn’t see what was in front of her. He taught her everything he knew making her his apprentice and later she called him her father. He raised her and when he felt she was ready he sent her off to reap the benefits of all she had learned.

Now she was floating on a piece of driftwood. Just hanging on for dear life her glasses cracked and her forehead cut. The world was a fog mess as she clung to the wood to keep alive. Almost the entire crew went down with the ship those who didn’t were probably eaten by the monster who took out the ship. One by one all she heard were screams and one by one each was silenced. She watched as a large shape head her way. She was tired and felt defeated. Her vision just dimmed and she laid her head on the wood as she lost consciousness.

Siegfried's eyes cast in shadow seeing the remains of the ship. He grit his teeth angrily when suddenly his ears twitched. It was faint but there was no mistaking the melody of life. Acting quick the captain dived off the ship and swam to the origin of the melody. Just as Hamano was about to slide off the wood and into the ocean Siegfried grabbed her hand.

"Barely alive, your body seems like it was broken by a powerful strike...a feeling I know all too well" he said to the unconscious turtle.

He picked the female up and actually lifted himself to the waters surface. He carried her bridal style while he walked across the water as if it was solid ground.

His ears twitched again but before he could register the new melody he heard a collective group of voices yell out for him. Seeing the shadow now looming over him he turned around and stared up at a massive azure serpent that seemed to have a white lower demonic jaw with yellow eyes and an extra pair of red eyes above it.

Siegfried's eyes widened "The Daedelus?" he muttered. The serpent glowered at him and opened it's mouth. A figure could suddenly be seen jumping off of Siegfried's ship running swiftly across the water. Just as the serpent began to charge up a powerful torrent of water the figure ran past Siegfried and jumped into the air.

"Harusame" Kishigure growled darkly as she unsheathed her sword and sliced at the serpent. Her attack managed to catch it in the gap between it's two upper and lower pair of eyes causing it to roar in agony. It turned its attention to the swordsman and went after her.

Leaving Kishigure to deal with the serpent Siegfried continued his trek back to the tempest 'Why is the Daedelus here of all places?' he thought. Making it to the ship he suddenly began to tremble terribly.

Images began to appear before him. A large wedding day. A beautiful bride approaching him at the altar. Bells chiming and people cheering. A large serpent rising through the ocean: The Daedelus! A figure could be seen on the forehead of the serpent adjusting his white glasses which reflected the white light of the sun.

"I shall take her from here captain" a cloaked figure said appearing before him.

Doctor of the Sonance Pirates: Venedict "The Dark Healer" Volkoff

"Yes, alright" Siegfried said handing the turtle over to him "Where is-"

"He woke me but Kumadori started annoying him so he began to lecture him" Venedict said "If you excuse me" as Venedict grabbed Hamano and vanished with her through a portal of darkness Siegfried sighed.

Siegfried stiffened feeling a wet hand on his shoulder. Out of instinct he grabbed the hand and flipped the person over his shoulder. Kishigure was prepared for this however and she landed on her feet just a few feet in front of him. She had some blood on her kimono but looked quite annoyed "It escaped!" she growled irritated.

"What?" Siegfried asked "I saw you cleave into it's face!"

"It moved away at the last second, we battled but this serpent is clever, it escaped at the first chance" she said, her eyes casting in darkness.

She sat before Siegfried "I-I've...never failed to kill a sea serpent before..." she said, she pulled a small knife from under her kimono "I shall commit Seppuku to right this wrong and regain my-"

"NO!" Siegfried yelled grabbing her wrists "Don't!" he said to her.

While Siegfried and the rest of the crew werer trying to convince Kishigure not to commit Seppuku, Newgate kept his eyes on Siegfried 'Memories of the past...can be quite painful' he thought.

Several minutes later a cloud of smoke appeared before Siegfried as he gazed on from the bow of the ship "I launched a signal flare from the destroyed ship" Andrew said, his body forming from smoke "The crew is salvaging what they can from the wreck, there was hardly much saving, but we need this cleaned up" he said to the captain who nodded.

"We also...found one more survivor" Andre said grimly.

"Bring them aboard, Venedict will treat them both" Siegfried said. Andre gave a nod and vanished from view. Newgate, who was close by made his way to Siegfried "Will you be alright?" he asked.

"I...will be fine" Siegfried said "Some scars are...harder to heal then others unfortunately" the male said.

The tempest made their way away from the remains of the Pelagios. Unaware of two pairs of eyes watching them intently from the ocean before they vanished.

-The Medic Bay-

Venedict worked quickly and diligently. Due to Hamano being a turtle Venedict came to the conclusion that placing her face-down wouldn't be the best choice and placing her laying down would prove troublesome for her to get up. He used various pillows to prop Hamano up in a sitting position. He held a hand coated in dark energy above her frame and scanned her "Dislocated right shoulder, broken right clavicle, sternum has been impacted by something heavy breaking vertebrosternal ribs one, three, five and seven, so breathing will be a painful problem" he muttered to himself. As he talked the shadows around them began to connect the turtle to various machines that kept tabs on her heart, pulse, breathing and overall condition. Her glasses were removed and the gash across her head was sealed with dark needles but not before being sterilized.

"The spinal column...oh dear she wont be walking for a while" Venedict said seeing the shape of her shell "Looks like I have my work cut out for me" he said. The other survivor had been brought in as well and he was placed on a bed next to Hamano's. Judging by the clothes he wore he must've held a high ranking aboard the ship that had gone down.

He had several fractures throughout his body as well.

'.......floating......' Thats was the thought in Turtles head as she tried to blink away the misty haze in front of her eyes '.... it feels like I'm floating.....' Her world was in a large blur as she looked around the dimmly lit room not being able to distinguish where she was. She couldn't tell anything besides the fact she was laying in what she would assume was a bed. A bed in a large endless scape of shadow. As she pushed herself up on her week arms she looked at a shape in front of her which looked like one dark shadow that walked closer.

"Oh no where am I? Did I Die! Your Death aren't you you are hear to take me away! I'm Dead! Oh please please don't tell me I'm dead! I don't want to Die! I haven't found my Father yet! I want....no I need to find him! So please don't take me away to the afterlife! I'll do anything!" she cried out panicking as she pleaded to the dark figure she could only assume was death come to take her away from where ever she was. She must have drowned with the ship and thats why she felt like she was floating and couldn't move.

The figure walked up closer and Hamano closed her mouth in fear. She shook as she tried mentally preparing herself for death to take her away or cut her down; what ever it was that death did to the souls of Chao when it was there time to pass.

Suddenly, the incarnation of death did something she was not expecting: it poked her on the forehead.

"It would be nice if most people wouldn't assume such a thing at first appearance" a calm voice said. The hood was pulled back revealing a goat chao with a small white beard and spectacle glasses "You are quite lucky to be alive young one, but I must ask you to calm yourself"

Hamano could only stare dumbfounded as the goat continued to talk "My name is Venedict, I am the head doctor of my crew, we are currently in the medic bay" he said in a calm tone "What is your name?" he asked, using his dark powers to scan her body for further analysis.

Hamano's fear drained away when she saw the colors of the shape changed in front of her . As it got closer the figure became less menacing. "...amano. Hamano Michiko." she said softly as she squinted trying to get a clearer picture of the chao in front of her seeing that wasn't working well she widened her eyes and that went on for a few seconds before she shut her eyes completely and just laid back.

"....The crew....The ship... everything is gone....now how am I going to find my father?....." she whimpered as she tried to sink into her shell only to wince.

[Ryu Chao]

"The ship is being salvaged for whatever usable parts" Venedict said "The crew...unfortunately, it seems many lives were lost but two" 

At this Hamano's eyes widened "W-Wait, there was...a survivor aside from myself?"

"Yes, he's in the medic bay as well" Venedict said, pointing over to the curtains that surrounded a bed next to hers "He needs a great deal of rest and a cast for a majority of his body due to the fractures he has" 

Siegfried entered the room and immediately made his way over to Hamano"My name is Siegfried Amadeus Kongou, captain of the Sonance pirates and rightful owner of the Azure tempest" he said politely, introducing himself to the turtle "I must ask...what possessed you to steer your ship into the red belt?" he asked sternly "Those waters have no wind current and are the nesting grounds for various sea serpents" 

While he questioned the turtle Venedict began using his dark magic to slowly set her vertebrae back into place. His eyes were gazing at her body, almost as if he could see through her skin and see the anatomy beneath...which seemed to be the case. His dark magic numbed her nerves so there wouldn't be any pain, therefore no abrupt movements while he worked on putting her back together.

"Young lady who exactly was your father?" Siegfried asked "is he a sailor?"

[Mizuko Chao]

Hamano looked down and saw her belt was missing from her person unable to see from the loss of her glasses she squinted as she looked to Siegfried.

"My dad wa…s a medic and a scientist for the destroyed ship." she looked down at her blurry hands trying to bring them into focus.
 
"I…I was following a map my father had….left in his possessions. I had it in my belt… " She said trying to see if it was taken off and moved somewhere else but could only make out shapes "I was following the route he was taking when the ship he was on was destroyed. The map showed a clear course," she explained trying to ignore the numb feeling in her back. “The red belt was supposed to be south of the course we were on.” She said not understanding what had happened her voice becoming higher and louder in her distress

"....You dumb woman" a gruff voice wheezed out from the covered bed next to hers "...I kept telling you...the red belt changes with each passing year...the Leviathans have new mating grounds each year! That map was several years old! It was outdated!"

A hand of darkness pulled at the curtains revealing a wolf Chao in a partial body cast "I understand that you wanted to find your father...but because of you...I lost my entire crew, my ship, everything!" he cried out bitterly to her, wincing terribly as he tried to sit but couldn't as most of his bones were broken.

The man began to cry now "everything...everyone...all because of you" he snarled at Hamano "Devoured by that beast!"

Hamano looked at the shadowy figure of the former captain sadly she knew it was all her fault and she should have listened. Her eyes seemed to dull in her ever increasing depression. She was responsible for lives lost due to her quest to find a Chao probably dead for years now.But she didn't want to give up on her hope.

"I'm sorry." she said looking in the direction of the voice. "It won't bring them or your ship back but I'm sorry." she said her emotions drained. Hamano wanted nothing more than to sink into her shell and escape the eyes of the captain.Had she not fought with for countless hours trying to get him to accept the route she wanted the ship to take none of this would have happened.

She reached up and pulled at her Plastron closing her eyes as she felt the weight of everything that had happen fall on her. "I was responsible for this expedition. It's my fault their lives were lost." she cried becoming even more blind unable to see due to her tears. Her body started to tremor with her sobs unable to keep still.

[Ryu Chao]

"It is unfortunate, but loss ends up happening whether we want it to or not" Siegfried said solemnly.

"Who do you think you-?" the wolf began and he took notice of Siegfried "You...you're...the captain of the sonance pirates" the wolf chao said.

"Your name" Siegfried said towards the wolf.

"Kassius, formerly Captain Kassius Del Ray"

"Ah yes, I heard you were an excellent navigator who never failed in any expedition"

"Aye, that was thanks to my incredible guidance as a navigator and...my crew" he said grimly "The creature that attacked us..." Kassius began raising his gaze to Siegfried.

"Was a sea serpent created through experimentation and black magic...it is not a natural creature of these waters" Siegfried said.

"That much I understood" the wolf said darkly "None of our weapons worked against it's thick hide..."

"When you are healed and rested, we will talk, for now sleep" Siegfried said softly playing a tune on his violin. The former captain nodded and he closed his eyes as the effect of the song finally took  hold, easing him into a dreamless sleep.

Siegfried now turned to Hamano who in turn gazed at the silver haired male wordlessly through her tears. Siegfried began to play a tune on it. Hamano felt her tears dry up, her body stopped trembling and she felt at ease.

"My name is Siegfried Amadeus Kongou, captain of the Sonance pirates and rightful owner of the Azure tempest" he said softly to her "What is your name?"

[Mizuko Chao]

"Hamano...." she said softly "Hamano Michiko." she said softly she closed her eyes. Silence fell for 4 minutes but her hands played with the bedsheets showing she was still awake.

"N...not that I am not grateful to have been rescued.. But why?" she asked opening her eyes breaking the silence. Her eyes tried to focus on him but seeing she was fighting a loosing battle on the matter her gaze fell to her lap and she played with the sheets."Why did you rescue us? Why where you out so far? Why... are you so... nice....to a perfect stranger?" Hamano asked her face showing her immense confusion. "Just....Why?"

[Ryu Chao]

Venedict remained quiet, diligently working on Hamano's back. When she began to grow hysterical he stopped his work due to the fact that she was moving about. Once Siegfried began to speak to her he resumed his job. When Hamano asked her assortment of questions Venedict deduced that the turtle was feeling an immense guilt over what had transpired and felt that she perhaps shouldn't be allowed to live.

"We rescued you because that is what we do, we may be pirates but we are not plunderers...we are guardians, protectors of the chao living on Aquatica" Siegfried stated "We happen to be on an island nearby and a member of my crew noticed the smoke rising from your ship. Why are we "nice"? Well, I must admit this is the first time I've been asked that question...because we wish to help? Because we're good people? I don't see the problem with helping someone in dire need of it"

"But to answer your questions...because we can and we will help" the captain stated "because helping those in need is what we do as guardians of these waters" the silver haired captain said politely "Wether an orphan who has lost their home and family, wether a stray who has lost there path or a shipwreck survivor....we accept anyone and everyone"

He smiled at Hamano "Does that answer your questions?"

Hamano nodded her head and looked over at the figure of the sleeping former captain "It does.... I'm just sorry I put us in position to need to be saved at all. I failed my mission and I destroyed so many lives in the process. How could I possibly ever be forgiven for that." she said as she turned her head to look back to Siegfried. "How can I possibly fix the unfixable? My father would be disappointed in me for putting so many lives in risk just to look for him. My teacher would slap me silly for being so blind." she said with a dark chuckle "I'm such a idiot."

"Mistakes happen unfortunately" Siegfried said, his eyes casting in darkness "One small action may cause a chain of events were everything you ever cared about...vanishes before your very eyes" the captain had a few seconds of silence, possibly reflecting back on something that pained him, "But...it is how we deal with our mistakes that will allow us to move on" he told Hamano "Yes, at this moment Kassius is in a great deal of pain....as his melody is telling me even now, he is filled with anger towards you, but more so in himself for letting his crew down and allowing them to die when he was in command" he gazed at the gruff wolf chao who quietly slumbered before turning back to Hamano "What will you do now?"

[Mizuko Chao]

"There is nothing more I can do.... I want to be able to make it up to Captain Kassius but I don't know how... I put all of my savings into this.... If not to find my father then to find closure." she said looking up to Siegfried. "I will just have to go home when I can. I guess there are just some situations you need to just give up." she said sadly. She turned her eyes towards the ceiling and took a deep breath and sighed.

"I will probably spend the rest of my life trying to make it up to Captain Kassius and working to give him a new ship or the financial stability he deserves from this disaster. But I need to realize I'm probably never going to know what happened to my father." she said in defeat.

[Ryu Chao]

Siegfried moved to her side and gently grasped one of her hands "Do not give up Hamano" he said "If you require the assistance in finding your father then my crew and I will gladly lend you our aid" he said to her.

Venedict cleared his throat capturing both of their attention "Your back has been put back together, it will be some time however before you are able to leave this bed, I'll have our shipwright whip you up a wheel chair so you won't have to be shackled to the medic bay"

"What of Captain Del Ray?" Siegfried asked.

"He is lucky to have only suffered fractures, luckily no bone fragments spread through and ruptured an organ or worse" Venedict stated as multiple small shadow figures floated over to him from the captain. The figures had blank eyes which stared at venedict, there seem to be some form of communication from them as the goat chao knew what harm was done to the wolf chao without actually looking him over.

"However, physical wounds may heal but mental scars...will take a great deal of time"


"I will handle what happens to them Captain, inform the crew of their condition and tell Kumadori to remain silent!" he snapped suddenly "...My patients require rest and his barbaric noise will be the death of them"

"I understand" Siegfried said with a nod. With a smile and a tilt of his hat towards Hamano's direction the silver haired lion left.

"You are considering his offer yet hesitant" Venedict said once Siegfried left.

[Mizuko Chao]

Hamano looked over in Venedict's direction "Yes sir. I appreciate the offer but... I don't want to lead to the destruction of more Chao. I love my father but I have to consider the lives of many in this situation." she said closing her eyes only to hear the screams of the former crew echoing in her mind.

"I close my eyes and hear them I don't want to experience something like that again." she said relaxing a bit as she started to regain feeling in her back and legs.

"I used to be a great chemist. I dropped everything when I heard what happened to the ship my father was on. My father... he took me in when my mother abandoned me. I had...publicly embarrassed her when she tried to show me off as a child prodigy. She had me study for months on end and I wanted to make her proud. I would stay up late studying with dim lights and squint at everything. I killed my vision for the most parts in a effort to gain her praise." she said with a dark chuckle

"My father he was there at the presentation... I mixed something wrong and boom there went the building. I spent a month or so in a coma and when I woke up he was there... he took me in and decided to teach me. He was the one who discovered I needed glasses." she said talk about him with such reverence. It was clear to see she idolized the man she called father and he meant the world to her

[Ryu Chao]

"Your father sounds like an amazing person" Venedict said with a small smile "We'll have time to talk more eventually. You need to work on recovering, sleep" he said, placing a hand on her forehead. There was a brief wave of dark energy that swept over Hamano and her world went black.

-Elsewhere on the ship-

"I figured I'd bring this to you doc" a voice said, the sounds of chewing could be heard as the owner of this voice spoke.

"It is an interesting find" the doctor revealed. What appeared to be a simple suitcase was actually a magically condensed chemical station "They must've had an amazing chemist aboard their ship"

"Seems like it, they were only able to find two survivors though, I saw the captain carrying one of them away while I investigated the ship, didn't get a good look at them" Andre said, with his shaggy hair covering his eye it seemed almost impossible he could see at all.

Thank you for the find Andre" The chimp doctor said. Andre merely nodded and blew a bubble with his gum before he dissipated into smoke.

The chao Andre had been speaking to gazed at the large lab packed within a suitcase and chuckled. Stepping into the light the Chao was a chimpanzee wearing glasses, a white labcoat with the crew's symbol on it and black pants. He had traces of white hair indicating his age. He scanned several beakers, test tubes, and flasks and seemed to be muttering to himself as he did so.

Main Chemist & Secondary Doctor of the Sonance Pirates: Dr. Hugo Beckham

His grey eyes searched the chemical station looking through the tubes and containers. He noticed that the glass of one of the test tubes had a design scratched into it. Curious he adjusted his glasses and gasped seeing a turtle scratched at the bottom of one of the test "...It cannot be..." he muttered looking astonished.

His mind briefly flashed back to several years ago.

He was at a work station with a smaller figure who handed him the chemicals he asked for without fail. The concoction he mixed bubbled furiously before it simmered and turned into a light brown color "Hahahah! Success!" he said, he poured some of the mix into smaller glasses and gave one to the figure aiding him. The smaller figure reached out a small green hand for her glass smiling widely.

"Cheers my apprentice!" he said happily "I call this one, Fizzy pop" he said with a large grin. The two clanged their glasses together and drank the newly concocted soda.  

"Hamano...?" the Chimpanzee began to panic "Why...Why would she be...No!" he quickly rushed out of the room and ran towards the captain's quarters.

It was just his luck that he managed to spot the captain making his way to the bow. He grabbed the man by his shoulders "Captain Siegfried!"

"Hugo! What's wrong?" Siegfried asked.

"A-Andre found a chemical station no doubt belonging to a chemist aboard that ship we're still in the process of salvaging...I...I feel that I know that chemist!" he shouted at the silver haired Lion "Please captain...among the bodies...was..was..."

He began to tremble and looked close to breaking down "...Was there a turtle Chao?" he asked at last his voice cracking.

"Yes"

Hugo gazed at Siegfried "Y-You're serious?" he asked "You're not..."

"I have never lied to any of my crewmates Hugo" Siegfried said "The chao I found was indeed a turtle, though she suffered-"

"SHE!?" Hugo yelled out looking close to flying into a frenzy before he stopped "...her name...did...did you get her name?" he asked, trying to control himself.

"...Hamano Michiko"

The chimp began to tremble more so than before. Sobs wracked his body to the point were he collapsed to his knees. Siegfried was alarmed at this "Hugo! Are you alright? What's wrong?"

"My daughter..."

'Daughter?' Siegfried thought astonished.

*Flashback*

"My name is Doctor Hugo Beckham. Your mother unfortunately will not be returning...having told me so herself" he said with an irritated sigh not at adopting the little turtle but at the girl having been abandoned "I will be taking care of you from here on out however, worry not" he told a younger Hamano and patted her on the head. The little turtle adjusted her glasses which were quite big on her but smiled up up at the chimp regardless.

*End Flashback*

"I...I...I RAISED HER!" he cried out through his tears "That...That turtle...she...she may as well be my daughter!" he said placing his hands to his face. "Hamano...." he said, his shoulders trembling from the sobs "...how long has it been? How many years have gone by since I last heard from her? What has happened? Why was she out there?" he asked worried. He grabbed Siegfried's shoulders once more "Answer me damnit! is she alright? My daughter...she..."

"She is recovering fine, Venedict is seeing to her speedy recovery" Siegfried said, grabbing his hands.

A black wisp rose from Siegfried's shadow.

"She...is...fine for the...most part...her back has been....re...paired...all other injuries are...minimal in comparison"

Hugo released Siegfried "Her back...was...damaged?" he asked.

"Thank you for the update Venedict" Siegfried said. The wisp bowed and vanished. Siegfried nodded "Yes, The Daedalus attacked a ship she was on...she told me she was looking for her father who had set out on an expedition...this is truly a small world"

"I need to see her, she-"

"I will speak with Venedict and have him inform us both once she has awakened" Siegfried said "Right now her injuries need to heal"

"At least allow me to see her" Hugo said softly.

Upon seeing Siegfried nod the chimp bolted past the silver haired Lion. Venedict had been looking over Kassius' condition when he heard the door of the medical room open. Upon seeing Hugo the ram stared at him confused.

"Hugo...what's wrong?"

"The turtle chao...she...she's..." he gasped out

"Calm yourself Hugo, you're not exactly a-"

"She's my daughter" Hugo answered "Hamano Michiko, she's my adopted daughter"

Venedict smiled "So she's the chemist you boasted of proudly several times?"

"Yes...she is" Hugo said, making his way over to Hamano's sleeping figure. His hands shook as he grabbed her hands and gave them a soft squeaze "Hamano...it's been so long" he said, tears falling from his eyes.

"I had wanted her to get some rest which is why I casted a sleep spell on her...shall I undo it so you two may speak?"

"..." Hugo gazed at his injured daughter "As much as I would like that...she's been through so much today" he said "She needs to rest for now" he said, his voice cracking from joy.

"I shall inform you when she awakens Hugo"

-The next day-

Venedict had been reading his book when he noticed that Hamano had begun to stir. Almost instantly a small blob of darkness shot out from his shadow and formed a wisp which looked around curiously "Pao?"

"Kuro, get Hugo and tell him that-"

The door slammed open "Is she awake now?"

Venedict sighed "...Hamano is waking up"

"Pao?" the spectre asked confused.

"Never mind" Venedict said. Not wishing to back just yet the mini spectre which resembled a black puffy cloud with a black cloak floated over to Hamano's shifting form. It's glowing purple eyes gazed at her curiously behind it's cloak "Pao?"

"Scat you!" Hugo snapped, waving the specter away from getting too close to Hamano.

[Mizuko Chao]

Hamano's sleep was dreamless most of the night. Venedicts spell kept the demons away from her dreams. As it came closer and closer to the time she was to wake the spell wore off and dreams started to filter though. More like a memory.

She was on the ship.

Hamano was sitting in her small office. Outside she heard the crashing of the waves as she glared over the old map that charted the course her father took. Under it she had the map for the year. Flipping between the two she saw a red line extend from the southern isle of Okeanos, to the northern land of Tethys the line expanded 3,600 miles long and 40 miles wide and was apparently the ships course was heading right for it. On her fathers map on the other hand the red line was 300 miles north of their course and wrapped around Tethys to the far western land mass of Nethuns just 500 miles north of her home isle where she got her crew together.

Captain Kassius was due to burst in her office any moment like he did every day for the past few weeks. Growling in frustration she threw down her glasses. She had poured over the maps for weeks trying to understand why they were different but only came up with the red belt. It made no sense to her why the creatures would choose new mating grounds each year while all other creatures of the seas would stay predictable in their mating patterns. Food sources weren't the answer because on her fathers map they followed a whale like creatures path while on this year’s they were in shark territory along with sea turtle and whale breeding grounds. As if sensing her ire Kassius chose that moment to bang at her door. Then burst in not waiting for a welcome.

"Listen here you vacuous terrapin! We are heading right for the red belt! I can feel it in my bones that If we continue on out course we are going to end up right in the center of the Leviathans new mating grounds! We will all perish!" He yelled his eyes full of anger.

"Kas..." Hamano started not wanting to fight with the Chao for another day in a row

"Captain!" Kassius growled out

"Captain Kassius.. The map I have is..." she started to say pinching the bridge between her eyes. Kassius having heard this argument before growled as he started walking forward. He then slammed his hands on the desk. The bang made Hamano look at him as some of her papers flew to the left or right of her desk onto the floor.

"Several years old! It's out dated! I do not want the lives of my c...." Kassius was cut off of his rant by a blast that rocked the ship throwing him over the desk and into Hamano. Hamano's chair flipped back and the two were sprawled out on the ground. The Groaned in pain and shock as the ship rocked in the ocean like a child toy in a tub. As the boat started to settle they turned to hear the sound of the crew yelling orders.

Kassius's eyes widened as he picked himself up and looked at Hamano's doorway. The crew rushed by yelling and shouting when suddenly a ear piercing screech was heard.

"What in the name of Aquatica was that?" Hamano asked in fear

"A leviathan." Kassius said as he bolted out the door. "Crew! Battle stations! Turn this ship around and get us out of here!" The captain yelled. He wanted them out of the area as quick as possible when that was done then he would kill the turtle in charge of this expedition.

Hamano grabbed her glasses off the floor and put them on and rolled up her fathers map putting it in her belt. She then rushed for the door to help out. What she saw made her shake in her shell. Raised above the ship was a large serpent like creature eyeing the crew in hunger water still fell of its skin as it started down at them. The captain stood at the wheel as he furiously turned it to make the ship head for a retreat the crew ran furiously like scattering ants running for the cannons to try and fire at the serpent. it was still for no more then a minute before it let out another screech then sent its body down onto the ship and Hamano was blasted back hitting the wall of the captains cabin. Kassius sat next to her for a moment dazed before turning to look at her "You killed us all." he stated before rushing back to steer the ship in hopes they would escape.

Hamano just watched at the ship s crew would be picked off one by one as the leviathan attacked the ship. Like a child in a tub it slammed the ship left and right and down into the water. The crew would fall over board as the wood of the ship cracked and flew through the air. The captain held onto the wheel so he wouldn't fly about and Hamano gripped on the railing when suddenly it stopped. The serpent slipped into the water and didn't rise again. What was left of the crew fell silent as the stood still waiting. They turned to look at the captain who watched the ocean as he continued to turn the ship around. He straightened the ship and looked at his crew who while a little battered weren't too damaged they did suffer quite a few losses but they survived the battle.

"Are we safe?" Hamano asked shakingly; a cut extended over her right eye.

"No....." Kassius said as he looked straight ahead seeing the leviathan rise out of the water and began to charge up a powerful torrent of water. They where heading straight for the beast and its attack, there was no escape. There was a cry of 'Abandon ship' and half of the crew started to dive into the water.

Kassius looked at the monster in defeat as he held the wheel in death grip Hamano could only watch in fear as the attack shot for them and blasted the ship to pieces her shell hit the wall again and her body when through it then out the Captains window and into the water below. Her body twisted and turned in the water as she tried to find her way up for air. When she found which way was up she swum up only to see the creature slamming into body through what was left of the ship and debris crashed into her body below. When the horror ended her body lay broken, her glasses shattered, and she held onto a piece of wood. All she could hear were the sounds of screams being picked off one by one.


All she wanted to do was wake up she thought as she watch a body rise before her making her scream in fear and she tired to force herself awake.

In the waking world Hamano tossed, turned and moaned as she tired to come into the waking world. She suddenly sat ridged as she shot up her face hitting where the specter once was blasting the whisp into smoke in her face as she screamed shocking Venedict and Hugo

[Ryu Chao]

Out of reflex Venedict shot a ray of purple energy at Hamano. The ray hit her in the throat but while painless it silenced her screams. In fact, when she tried to speak Hamano uttered no noise or sounds.

"Forgive me, screams like that usually have me cast the spell of silence out of reflex" Venedict said plainly. Hamano was shaking terribly due to the nightmare still being fresh in her mind. With a snap of a finger the spell was canceled and Hugo rushed over to her "Hamano, breathe, relax, it's okay" he said to her, placing a hand on her shell and rubbing it gently "It's okay..." he said.

[Mizuko Chao]

Hamano shook following the fear from her dream she looked around like she was waiting for a leviathan to crash through the room. "The Monster...it gave no warning… it just appeared. ….It tossed the ship like it was nothing. “ she mumbled as she curled up.

She whimpered before she turned to look at the shadow that was comforting her. It’s been a long time since someone rubbed her shell to comfort her. The only person who ever rubbed her shell was her father. “My father used to rub my shell when I was upset.” She muttered to the shadow not sure if she had ever met the figure before. The shape and color was familiar to her but she couldn’t place it.

[Ryu Chao]

Hugo looked worried until he noticed that she was without her glasses "Hamano...what happened to your glasses?" he asked. The chimp sighed "Well, at least this hasn't changed" Taking a case out of his labcoat he opened it revealing a new pair of glasses "Good thing I always carry a few spares" he placed the glasses on her face "There we are, my prescription may be a bit stronger so we'll have to see if portugas will make you a new pair of glasses, can you see?" he asked Hamano.

[Mizuko Chao]

Hamano blinked in shock as pair of glasses was settled on her face. She watched the world come into focus and blinked looking at the room around her. She looked over and saw Venedict for the first time the chao no longer looking like a looming figure of death. She took in the Goat chao's features for a moment to get a good look at him. His eyes were red but not menacing just odd to her. His beard and spectacles made him look kind though. "Doctor... Venedict?" she asked him only to see his lip pull up into a smile as he chuckled.

Her eyes took in the medical bay as it then fell on the male who gave her his spare glasses and what she saw made her freeze. There waiting patiently for her to look upon her was Hugo, her father. She looked him up and down before biting her lip and reaching her hand out to his face. She held her breath as her fingers grazed the brown skin of his cheek. She was almost sure her hand would go straight through him. “…Dad?” she asked in reverence unsure if she was even awake. Maybe she was having one of those twisted double dreams

[Ryu Chao]

Hugo smiled warmly at her and grabbed her hand "Hello my daughter" he said softly, a tear falling from his eye.

"Dad...dad...it's...it's..." Hamano's voice cracked and Hugo embraced her. She bawled against his chest gripping at his shirt while he gently rubbed her shell "It's ok Hamano~" he said softly, his tears flowing "It's all alright my daughter~"

The sounds of rapid scribbling could be heard getting everyone's attention. Hamano noticed Siegfried, who seemed to have just magically appeared "What...What is he...doing?" she asked.

"Don't mind Siegfried" Dr. Beckham said "Right now...he's in another world altogether" the chimp said.

The silver haired lion wrote at lightning speed like a man possessed. His ears picking up a collection of sounds that no others could hear. A collection of sounds which connected to his very heart. A collection of sounds which defined his existence. A collection of sounds which at this moment opened his senses to a world beyond. A collection of sounds...known as music.

It was unknown why or how Siegfried had this ability. Perhaps it was a trait passed on from his father the late captain Binks. Maybe the years of being exposed to music while aboard the Azure tempest awakened a talent. It could even be the memories of singing with his sister Katherine, the days he played the violin with his father and later the concerts he had with the crew that gave him an unfathomable love for music. A love so strong and powerful that it (in theory) allowed him to hear special sound waves within the air allowing the lion to determine a person's true mood despite their facade, allowing him to hear music from the actions of others which in turned inspired him.

"Yohohohoho...." the lion laughed "I do so apologize...when seeing tender moments such as these I can't help but become inspired to write a new song" he said . The notebook and quill vanished from view. The lion turned his chocolate brown gaze to Hamano and gave a polite bow "Good morning madam, I hope that Venedict has been more than capable in taking care of you" he said.

"Y-Yes he has been...very much so" Hamano said as Hugo released her but kept an arm on her shoulder.

"So you found him then?" a gruff voice asked from the neighbors bed.

"Venedict, I was not aware you had another patient" Hugo said taking notice of the drawn curtain.

With a wave of his hand, dark hands pulled the curtains open revealing the injured Captain Del Ray.

The wolf chao had bandages across one eye. His working eye gazed at Hamano "This man...he's your father?" he asked in an unreadable tone.

"Yes, I am, her adopted father but a father nonetheless" Hugo said "Who are you?"

"I...WAS Kassius Del Ray"

"The famous Navigator and ship captain who never failed an expedition" Hugo said "What brings-"

"Your daughter...she was looking for you...because of her I lost my entire crew!" he snarled "My ship, my men, everything, everyone all gone! Devoured by that acursed leviathan!"

"I'm...I'm sorry...I..."

"I told you the map was outdated!"

"Outdated? Preposterous!" Hugo chimed in "My calculations have never been off! The red belt-"

"Moved! It moved, the Leviathan that attacked me is proof!" Kassius snarled "That beast...it-"

"It isn't a natural Leviathan" Siegfried said darkly.

"W-What?" Kassius asked angrily "What are you saying?"

"Whatever map you had was indeed correct" Siegfried said, walking over to the far wall, upon touching it, the wall changed into a map, the same map Hamano had shown to him.

"No, it can't be, the creatures were appearing in waters they weren't supposed to be!"

"When a territory is disturbed by a stronger creature, captain, where does a creature flee to?" Siegfried asked "It flees out of it's normal territory, does it not?" the silver haired lion asked "The Dadealus...it must've ravished several nests forcing monsters out of their normal territories..hence why sea serpents were appearing were they weren't supposed to"

[Mizuko Chao]

Hamano looked at the map Seigfried showed "The past few years... the Red Belt was said to move. The creatures weren't following their normal patterns from years before. Its because of this... Dadealus?" she asked Siegfried.

"I knew dad's map was right...." she said softly not wanting to have Kassius hear and become upset. She still forced the issue on their course that had cost him his crew. She may have been right about her map being a proper course but the new map of the year did track the changes of the red belt and she led them right into it.

Looking to Hugo, Hamano saw his eyes burrowing into Kassius. The former Captain sat in shock tried to come to terms that a much larger and dangerous creature was haunting the waters making all the other monsters run in fear.

"Captain Siegfried if the Dadealus is ruining the patterns of the Laviathans what of the other sea monsters? The sirens, the Ceirean, Charybdis, Aspidochelone, Kraken's; what of them are the sea's no longer safe as we knew them?"

[Ryu Chao]

"The sirens only reside within the "Cave of Echoes" which the legend says it's the place were Oro Jackson, the Ocean Kaiser, left his entire fortune. That story has led to the downfall of many foolhardy pirates and sailors who enter it only to be seduced and drowned by those foul harpies"

As he spoke the map changed revealing a sketch of the interior of a massive cave that had many piles of gold and treasure with Sirens emerging from the water and singing.

"The Daedalus cannot enter the cave and neither can any Leviathan for that matter" he stated. The image changed to a strange looking sea monster.

"Ceirean, Cirein-cròin or cionarain-crò or The Illusionist, those with high magic can see through it's deception of a silver fish. It allows fishermen to catch it only for it to change back and devour them. There were rumors it was supposed to be big enough to eat seven whales in one gulp" he said with a chuckle.

The image now became what could only be described as a massive mouth with jagged teeth all around.

"Charybdis, "The All eater", also an Orthodontist's worst nightmare, was sealed by Tsunami's powerful magic many years ago, so we don't need to worry all too much about her and her ravenous appetite"

Siegfried smiled "Aspidochelone, "The Moving Islands" are actually separated into three categories, the turtles are actually quite generous and friendly, only allowing those of pure hearts to dock on them. The whales can be temperamental and dive unexpectedly which makes some wary unless you can establish communication with it, lastly, the serpents must never be docked on for they have evil intentions"

Snapping his finger, the display now showed the three types of creatures he described.

"Lastly, the Kraken's...they can be a handful to handle, no pun intended, but it isn't too big of a problem, Jango, our janitor even went as far as to befriend one while out on a recent expedition. Unfortunately, Kishigure isn't quite fond of it" he added with a sweatdrop.

"The only thing that worries me are the various Leviathans appearing in areas they're not supposed to be, we however, have aid in places we cannot get to so quickly" he revealed.

"In short, the seas are the same as they have always been. Now that I've seen for myself that it was the Daedalus attacking ships throughout the planet...it can no longer be allowed to roam free" Siegfried stated fiercely serious.

"The crew shall be informed to be on alert for the creature" Venedict said and with a wave of his hand sent out multiple wisps which became specters that began to spread the captain's message through the ship.

"Kishigure will be happy about this" Hugo stated.

"You...what are you?" Kassius asked Siegfried astonished at the fact that he didn't seem bothered at all and had even taken away any doubts he had about the ecosystems being completely destroyed by the Daedalus. The fact that his two doctors remained calm showed that it wasn't just the the captain was strong but they were as well.

"We are guardians of this planet, of it's chao and of it's seas" Siegfried stated "Be it pirates, Monsters or Natural disasters we are here for the chao of Aquatica"
